From Napkin to Complete Product
A few years ago, VPI had a client who had an idea for
a bar code reader. Capital for the project had been secured
and marketing plans were in place. However, the client
did not have the engineering resources to complete the

The client met with VPI and sketched a concept
of the bar code reader on a napkin. From that initial
concept, VPI developed a sophisticated bar code
